Alex received her undergraduate degree in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University. After graduating, she worked in a multidisciplinary outpatient pediatric clinic and through the Illinois Early Intervention program, where she was able to treat children with a variety of neurological, orthopedic and genetic conditions. Alex has always been passionate about working with children, especially through the intensive model of therapy. Her experience as a therapy aide during her undergraduate years involved working with an intensive program, and her research project during graduate school involved exploring caregiver attitudes towards intensive models of therapy. Outside of work, Alex loves to cook, ski, sail and explore new places!
