Emily is currently attending California State University of Long Beach, to obtain her BA in Speech-Language
Pathology. Emily decided to pursue a degree within the field of Special Education, a place where she can help children gain the skills necessary to thrive. She found Speech Language Pathology interesting because of the various ways to help individuals improve their ability to speak, connect with others, and achieve their personal goals. Each individual is unique and Emily hopes to meet each of them where they are at and watch them grow day by day. Emily enjoys building interpersonal connections in this field and hopes to create unique relationships with each of her future clients. When Emily is not working at NAPA she loves trying new foods, going on walks in nature, and doing something crafty like crocheting or card making. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, watching movies, playing sports, and playing games. She is very excited to create new connections, improve her skills in working with children, and build their foundation to prepare them for their next steps.
