B.S. Health Sciences, Masters in Occupational Therapy; Quinnipiac University; Clinical Doctorate, New York University
Kathryn attended Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, earning a Bachelors degree in Health Sciences and a Masters in Occupational Therapy. She recently earned her post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from New York University.
A born and raised New Yorker, Kathryn has enjoyed the opportunity to live and work on both east coast and west, during her time in California and with NAPA Boston. A love for travel coupled with a passion for new adventure, had her excited to move abroad to join NAPA Melbourne! (New York may have the best pizza, but this caffeine-lover couldn’t pass up the opportunity to live in the coffee capital!)
Kathryn has dedicated her professional career to paediatrics and developed a true love for working with the pediatric neuromotor populations and children with feeding and eating difficulties, since joining NAPA. A lifelong learner with a passion for clinical research and education, Kathryn recently served as the primary author on several peer-reviewed presentations and article publications.
Kathryn is passionate about working with children, and first became interested in OT while volunteering in college as an adaptive ski instructor for children with disabilities. Her favorite part of NAPA is “Every day I come to work, I learn something new and see something exciting. The energy, dedication and magic that happens here is unparalled”. When not working, you’ll find Kathryn at yoga, the beach or ski trips, trying out new restaurants with friends and family, and enjoying long walks around the city in search of the best cup of coffee! She also hopes to pick up some new surfing skills, while down under!
