PT DPT, Pediatric Residency 2021-2022 // Katie knew from a young age that physical therapy was her calling, specifically pediatrics. Growing up with her older sister who was adopted and had a diagnosis of Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy gave her a unique insight into the difficulties that children face with neurological impairments. Since graduating school, Katie has gone on to work with a wide variety of pediatric patients, but she consistently finds herself drawn to kids with complex needs and neurological impairments, challenging her creativity in treatment to help her patients reach their potential. Outside of her career as a physical therapist, Katie loves spending time with her husband and animals, going on hikes, playing video games, and working out.
