Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Western Sydney University

Monique knew throughout her schooling that she wanted to pursue a career that would enable her to fulfill her passion of making a difference in the lives of children. She found this in the occupational therapy profession. During her studies, Monique was fortunate enough to have placement experience in a range of clinical areas which included mental health. She may be a familiar face as Monique had her 6-week university placement at the NAPA Centre, an experience that she has held onto since! She has had previous experience as an allied health assistant working mainly with children living with autism spectrum disorder. Monique comes from a Lebanese background and has grown up in a big amazing family, therefore she knows and values the importance of families in the lives of children. Monique is enthusiastic, vibrant and will make each interaction a fun and valuable one through integrating play in therapy.  She is dedicated to constantly updating her knowledge through research and learning to ensure the best outcomes for your children! When Monique is not at the NAPA Centre, you will find her taking on a new outdoor adventure or spending some quality time with her family.
