Rebecca has always been drawn to both working with children and the health sciences for as long as she can remember. She was unsure of how it would all come together in a career until she crossed paths with occupational therapy as an undergraduate student at Elon University in North Carolina. She was inspired by the emphasis occupational therapy puts on both physical and mental well-being and moved to Boston right after graduation to pursue her doctorate. Prior to NAPA Center, Rebecca worked at a children’s hospital treating kids in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She is now back at the Boston clinic after spending the
last 18 months helping to get NAPA UK up and running! Becca loves the collaboration between PTs and SLPs at NAPA. Her clinical interests include motor development and primitive reflexes for which she is becoming a certified primitive reflex integration specialist. In her free time she enjoys international travel, good food, and live theatre
