Sarah has always been passionate about working with kids. She discovered occupational therapy while volunteering at a children’s hospital and fell in love with the field. She finds so much joy in empowering children to reach their goals and finding creative solutions to help people thrive in their daily activities. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience at the University of Michigan, Sarah earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Rush University in her hometown of Chicago, IL. NAPA Center is an absolute dream job, combining Sarah’s passion for pediatrics with her interest in neuro rehab. Prior to starting at NAPA, Sarah gained valuable experience in outpatient, home health, and community-based settings, shaping her holistic, strengths-based, and client-centered approach to therapy. Since leaving the Midwest, Sarah has been taking advantage of all that Denver has to offer with frequent trips to the mountains to camp, hike, snowboard, and sightsee. Outside of the clinic, you can also find Sarah playing tennis, taking dance classes, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. Sarah’s love of adventure, learning, and play extends into her therapy sessions, where she infuses creativity, playfulness, and connection to make therapy engaging and enjoyable for her kiddos!
